Are you wondering “Is the Bio Ionic 10X Worth it?”, You’re not the only one wondering if the steep investment price will get you the best results that we want to see.

You’ll get the best and honest info from NHP because we do flat iron reviews for a living and we’ve been known to say a product is trash when it’s trash and we give it props when props are due.

Sound fair?

So let me give you a feel for the good, bad and ugly about the Bio Ionic 10X flat iron and if it is worth your hard-earned bucks.

In other words…

Is it a bad cost or a good investment? There’s a big difference you know?

Especially when there are a lot of highly-rated flat irons for less money, like the full suite of popular Babyliss Pro flat irons that we’ve reviewed lately.

So let’s get down to business, you don’t have time to play around. So what’s the deal with this $230+ price for a flat iron?  And, is the Bio Ionic 10X reeeeeeeally worth it? I’m mean, REALLY?

Keep reading sis….

What’s Unique About Bio Ionic 10X to Make It Worth The Cost? Hmmm…

The Bio Ionic styling iron is equipped with Bio-Ceramic sonic vibrating plates infused with Volcanic MX that straightens hair fast, in less than 10 minutes. Bio Ionic Moisturizing Heat™ conditions hair as you style, sealing in moisture and smoothing the cuticle, for softer, bone straight strands.

The unique vibrating plates glide through your hair creating more surface contact, effectively smoothing and polishing your hair as you feel the gyrating glide pass through. The Bio Ionic flat iron’s rounded barrel makes it easy to use this multitasking tool for wavy or straight styles. The result is a brilliantly vibrant, high gloss finish.

Features & Benefits of the Bio Ionic 10X Straightening Iron:

  • The Bio Ionic flat iron is designed with Natural Ion Complex to deliver natural negative ions to your hair.
  • What is the Natural Ion Complex? Natural Ion Complex is the name for the active mineral complex, discovered in Asia, that naturally produces negative ions.
  • Research shows that negative ions can break water molecule clusters into micro-fine particles, allowing moisture to penetrate your hair shaft. This way, natural moisture balance is restored to your hair.
  • Natural Ion Complex in the Bio Ionic 10X never wears out & is effective for the life of your flat iron.
  • Your results are hair that’s naturally moisturized and conditioned. Hair becomes smoother, softer, and shinier with less frizz and static electricity.
  • The Natural Ion Complex is permanently molded in the heat plates of the Bio Ionic 10X.
  • Digital temperature control up to 450° for all hair types.
  • Dual Voltage (120V-220V) ergonomic soft-touch handle. 1-hour automatic shut-off.
  • Bio-Ceramic heaters & 9 feet swivel cord.
  • Because of the Natural Ion Complex, the Bio Ionic 10X infuses moisture into the hair shaft and seals the cuticle as it straightens.

Here’s something I don’t believe about the Bio Ionic 10X flat iron:

This is the ugly truth as I see it…. The manufacturer says that because of the Natural Ion Complex technology, you don’t need any heat protectant products, claiming that this flat iron is “Like a conditioner with a cord”...

Girrrrrl….

You believe that bull-puckey if you want to, ha! I’m not playing any scorched earth games with my luscious. I haven’t seen any Bio Ionic 10X reviews in which the woman avoided using a heat protectant. This thing gets up to 450 degrees of heat, so when I hear that it’s not necessary to use protective products when using this flat iron. That goes in one ear and right out the other one.

Because if I listen to them and I ended up burning a chunk out of my hair I’d be lookin’ to kick a chunk outta somebody's butt. ASAP! Lol…. So, Is the Bio Ionic 10X worth it? Maybe, maybe not… Either way it goes though, don’t let them gas you up to do something dumb.

Is The Bio Ionic 10X Worth It For Women With Coarse 4C Hair?

It’s no secret, I myself have thick coarse hair and many of my 4C hair natural sisters are also wondering if the Bio Ionic 10X is worth it for us with hair that fights against straightening.

Well, these Bio Ionic flat iron review videos show you these straighteners in action, so you can see for yourself if it’s worth the cost for kinky-haired honeys, too!

The first Bio Ionic flat iron review is from Cassandra Olivia, and she compares it’s use and results side-by-side versus the Rusk CTC flat iron(a much cheaper flat iron BTW), take at look at which one performed the best.

Bio Ionic 10X VS Cheaper Rusk CTC Flat Iron on 4C Hair - Is It Worth It?

Here's a very thorough flat iron review to show you how the Bio Ionic 10X compares to the Rusk CTC straightener on 4C hair, and you'll see if the Bio Ionic is worth the money for this pro stylist. Is the Bio Ionic 10X worth it, check the vid...

So, is the bio ionic 10x worth it? This stylist said that this Bionic 10X flat iron was the bomb, and if you're a beginner or don't know the tips and tricks to get hair bone straight, absolutely super-straight, she 100% recommends that you buy the Bio Ionic 10X flat iron.

Because even in other review videos that she watched in which the women testing the flat iron hadn't blown the hair out as straight as possible before flat ironing, the Bio Ionic flat iron still got their hair silky straight and did all of the work.

And Cassandra got amazing results too without adding any other products besides a high-grade heat protectant.

Bio Ionic 10X Flatiron Review w/ Kimmy Boutiki - Is It Worth The Price?

Is the Bio Ionic 10X worth it? See how Kimmy Boutiki feels about its worth after seeing her surprising results...

So we saw in the last Bio Ionic product review video that Kimmi was able to “rebuke the shrinkage” and the flat iron got 5 stars from this beautiful sister.

Take note, that she made sure to also use a premium brand heat protectant spray, which is an absolute must, especially when using temperatures as high as 420 like she did. The brand she used was Moroccan Oil Perfect Defense heat spray. And as you already know, anything Morroccan Oil makes is highly-rated, top-notch (and costly as heck, lol).

Kimmi also employed the comb chase method and her ends were impressive. She got major hang time even though she had to go over her ends twice many use the Bio Ionic one pass and keep it moving. So, was the Bio Ionic 10x worth it for Kimmy Boutiki? Seems like the answer is a big YES! Her roots were straight and her ends came out super-nice. Good to see...

Is Bio Ionic 10X Worth The Price When Used With The Ion-Retexturizing System?

Is the bio ionic 10x worth it? Many kinky-haired women use this flat iron together with the Ion-Retexturizing System kit. Since both products are from the same company, it may be worth putting the two together for permanent straightening.

If you’ve never heard of the Ion-Retexturizing System…

… Let me quickly explain.

The Ion-Retexturizing System is a permanent straightening process designed for women with curly, frizzy or unruly hair who want to wear their hair permanently straight. If you’re like me, this kit isn’t for you. I’d never want to be stuck with permanently straight hair, to each her own though!

And, since this kit is thermal straightening hair product(needs to be heated), you need a really good flat iron for application. And for many women the Bio Ionic flat iron is worth the price so that they are using the suggested tools for the job.

Let’s not get it twisted though (pun intended, ha!)...

The Ion-Retexturizing System is different from a perm relaxer, I’ve had relaxed hair in the past and a relaxer doesn't straighten your hair perfectly. It only unwinds your kinks and curls. Also, relaxer results don't last for a long time.

On the other hand, this Bio Ionic permanent hair straightening kit straightens your hair as if you are freshly flat ironing your hair everyday. It’s a sight to see...

The Ion-Retexturizing System is the only permanent straightening system that can be used on all hair types without the typical damage of chemical straighteners.

The result is hair that is absolutely shinier, silkier, full of body and bounce.

How long does the straightening effect of the Ion-Retexturizing System last?

The straightening effect is for as long as you don’t cut it, this system gives you permanent straightening, a retouch is needed for new growth only. The normal time length between retouches is 6 to 12 months.

So, is the Bio Ionic 10x worth it for using with this straightening kit? Probably so, they were created to work in perfect harmony together for pin straight hair and better results.

Is The Bio Ionic 10X Worth It VS Flat Irons for Cheap?

Let’s keep it real. Some folks will never feel the Bio Ionic 10X is worth it because they either don’t straighten their hair often or they simply don’t need to look the best-of-the-best. And I’m not mad at them! For some, “decent” results are worth holding on to those extra bucks.

Folks are out here struggling these days and there are tons of flat irons for cheap that you can find at Sally's, online at Amazon and I even saw a comment on a flat iron review video where a lady got her flat iron for cheap at a second-hand shop.

Listen, there are flat irons so cheap (under $20) that you wouldn’t care if it broke next month, lol, just toss that bad boy and grab another one! Every lady has her own value system, it-is-what-it-is.

Now, on the other hand…

Is the Bio Ionic 10X flat iron worth the price for professional stylists or women who straighten often, or are sticklers for premium results and need an elite straightener? That’s different. And the answer is yes. These are the type of hair aficionados among us who are known to grab the best brands… The Bio Ionics, Babyliss Pros straighteners and GHD flat irons for superior styling.

Is The Bio Ionic 10X Worth It Because It Vibrates? Why Does The Bio Ionic 10X Vibrate?

Some people wonder, "Why does the Bio Ionic 10X Vibrate?". The answer is, because with each pass over your hair with the Bio Ionic 10X Pro styling iron, the pulsing vibration of the heat plates helps to evenly distribute your hair between the plates, and helps your hair slip evenly through the flat iron hair straightener for faster results.

This helps get your straightening done with fewer passes, even one pass. This is important because fewer passes through the heated flat iron means that hair suffers less heat damage.

Does The Strict 5-Year Warranty Rules Make Bio Ionic 10X Not Worth It?

So this is where things can get a bit ugly… Although this flat iron is known to be very durable and last long, anything can happen, right? Maybe you end up with a dud for some reason.

Well, you better make dang sure you register that flat iron within 30 days of purchase or you’re toast sister!

is the Bio Ionic 10x worth it with a STRICT 5-year warranty? Is the Bio Ionic 10x worth it? 5-year warranty on flat iron...

Yes, it’s true that Bio Ionic offers an insanely-long 5-year warranty, but the Bio Ionic brand isn't going to let anybody play them for fools. And they have the rules set in place to make sure of it.

You must register your Bio Ionic 10X flat iron within 30 days of the purchase date to validate your 5-year warranty. Also...

Products have to be purchased from an authorized Bio Ionic 10X flat iron distributor (don’t worry, Amazon is an authorized seller for Bio Ionic flat irons), and be sure to KEEP YOUR RECEIPT or online purchase record for 5 years, because original proof of purchase must accompany your claim. Proof of purchase from any unauthorized sellers or online merchants will not be accepted.

And yes, I saw a couple of Bio Ionic straightening iron reviews upset about the different hoops they had to jump through in order to get another flat iron sent. So take that into consideration when deciding is the Bio Ionic 10X worth it for you or not. Don’t drop that dang flat iron and try to talk to them about it, they aint trying to hear that Ms.Butter Fingers, lol!
