  3. Garlic ( G )

I'll explain the cayenne hair growth advantage in this tutorial below...

For now though:

I'll just tell you not to worry, it doesn't feel hot on your head or burn at all.

And because it's DIY, you can get hair growth without shelling out the big bucks for advanced biotin hair growth serums.

So let's go into some detail...

1 Reason Why Rice Water and Onion Juice for Natural Hair are BASE Ingredients...

The reason why rice water and onion juice for natural hair work so well for boosting your hair growth and retention is because rice, for one, is a powerhouse of the ever-important element, sulphur.

You see:

Your hair is made up of 97% keratin, and keratin has high sulphur content, that sulphur is almost entirely in the form of the amino-acid cystine.

Sulphur also acts as an antibacterial and antifungal stimulant for your scalp and hair follicles and is a critically important mineral that gives your hair and skin beauty, elasticity and strength.

Onions Also Contain Quercetin - a Powerful Flavonoid

This is a MAJOR hair growth key: Onions contain Quercetin which is a powerful flavonoid which a 2011 clinical study showed to prevent and treat alopecia areata, this powerful hair growth flavonoid actually is an antioxidant and has amazing anti-inflammatory properties to fight dandruff too.

  • SOURCE: PubMed US National Library of Medicine National Institutes of Health

The sulpur in onions also stimulates blood flow to the scalp and as you may know, increased blood flow in your scalp helps rush these hair growth helpers to your hair follicles

  • Oxygen
  • Vitamins A,C and E
  • Minerals
  • Amino acids
  • Proteins
  • Folic Acid
  • Biotin

Bottom line is:

Onions are absolutely jam-packed with all types of acids, nutrients and natural chemicals that are beneficial to your scalp and hair follicles.

This is what helps your hair to get healthy, strong, be constantly-growing and resistant against breakage.

Another clinical study published in 2002 on the use of onion juice as a treatment for spot baldness...

Shows you:

That onion juice gave significantly higher results with regard to hair growth, and unlike the earlier study, this one was performed on humans instead of mice. [RELATED ARTICLE: How to get beautiful Black skin...]

Benefits of Adding Fermented Rice Water to This Onion Juice Hair Growth Recipe

How To Reduce Protein in Rice Water & Onion Juice Natural Hair Rinse

Here's a quick aside: Although rice water is good for natural hair, if your hair is not in need of protein, leave the fermented rice water out of this recipe, because fermented rice is dang-near a REAL protein treatment.

Add the cayenne in on DAY 2.

If you want to know more about the protein content of rice water click here.

WHY All-Natural Hair Growth Remedies THAT ACTUALLY WORK Aren't Promoted

It's crazy...

Some of the best hair growth products on Earth grow right from the ground, like bamboo and African herbs for hair growth, for example.

But the reason why in-depth information about these natural remedies are barely revealed is because...

...it's more difficult for companies to profit from something we can just grow in our backyard.

Almost FOR FREE...

Most companies want to push their own products & avoid teaching DIY hair growth solutions.

They gotta pad those pockets, right?

Don't get me wrong:

We support great natural hair companies and products that work great for type 4 hair like TGIN.

Still though:

We believe that many times, LESS is MORE and all-natural products bring a certain simplicity to your life and natural hair regimen.

The Reason Rice Water and Onion Juice for Natural Hair Destroys Dandruff

If you take a close look at your scalp, there's a lot of obstruction and bacterial build-up, especially in the areas around the openings of your follicles.

This obstruction slows down the ease of which your hair strands can push out of your follicles and stay healthy.

Rice Water and Onion Juice for Natural Hair - scalp and folliclesThe human scalp has a lot of obstruction & bacterial build-up

The sulphur in onion has antibacterial and antifungal properties that clean these areas on a much deeper level, it kills off germs, parasites and stops fungal infections from growing.

So if you have dandruff which is usually a fungal problem, onion juice will be really helpful and can clear it up.

On top of that the sulfur in onion juice also has stringent properties, it acts as a stimulant that boosts blood flow to your scalp.

This is awesome because:

Increased blood flow helps your hair grow thicker and wakes up dormant hair follicles.

So over time you'll notice that your hair is thicker and fuller.

Not only that:

Sulfur in onion juice helps clear out dead skin cells that build up around your follicles.

PRO TIP: Almost every scalp condition we suffer from has something to do with bacterial or fungal build-up and the inflammation that this brings. Rice water and onion juice for natural hair works so well for your hair growth because it has the exact medical properties to deal with these fungal & bacterial issues.

How to Make a Fermented Rice Water and Onion Juice Natural Hair Growth Rinse

Again:

Here are the ingredients you'll need:

  • 1 Large yellow onion
  • 2 Large cloves of garlic
  • 12 oz Bottled water (for fermentation process, distilled water is best, but not necessary.)
  • 4 oz Organic rice - any type/brand is fine (for fermentation process)
  • 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper (for fermentation process)
  • 2 teaspoons of lavender essential oil
  • 1 teaspoon of peppermint oil

Because of the fermentation step, this is a 2-day process.

Fermenting your rice water and cayenne is an easy process, so don't freak out...

DAY 1: THE HOT PROCESS: Making Your Cayenne-Laced Rice Ferment

You add these ingredients to large, clean glass jar that has a lid:

  • 12 oz of bottled water
  • 4 oz of organic rice
  • 1 teaspoon organic cayenne powder

Close your lid, give the mixture a good shake and you're done for the day.

Then you simply:

Place your jar of cayenne-laced rice water in a dark area (like a cupboard or drawer) that's at room temperature or warmer.

This fermentation process usually takes 24 to 48 hours, just remember that warmer temperatures will speed up the fermentation process.

You'll know your ferment came out right if it looks cloudy and smells/tastes slightly sour.

If your fermentation turns out too potent you can dilute it with fresh water and use as normal.

DAY 2: THE O.G. PROCESS: Extracting The Onion & Garlic Juice

To finish making this cayenne-laced fermented rice water and onion natural hair growth recipe...

...all you'll need is a good blender, a food processor or a juicer.

Any of the 3 will do the job.

So let's get busy:

  • Step 1: Cut off the ends and peel the outer layers of the O.G. (onions and garlic).
  • Step 2: Chop the onions into small enough pieces for your particular blender to handle.
  • Step 3: Blend the Onion and Garlic until they are complete mush (add a splash of water if needed)..
  • Step 4: Grab your strainer of choice (cheesecloth, muslin, pantyhose, etc.).
  • Step 5: Strain the O.G. juice from the Onion & Garlic mush into a bowl or glass jar.
  • Step 6: Add your cayenne-laced fermented rice water in with the fresh O.G. juice.
  • Step 7: Add your 2 teaspoons of lavender essential oil.
  • Step 8: Add your 1 teaspoon of peppermint essential oil.
  • Step 9: Whisk the solution or shake up inside of a closed jar for 30 seconds.
  • Step 10: Put it in an application bottle and it's ready to use!

It's always best to use this mix fresh for maximum potency.

So let's teach you how to apply and use this elixir!
