Alot of other TGIN Curl Bomb Moisturizing Styling Gel reviewers said the same thing, they mentioned that it was crunchy until applying oil, and then the crunch disappeared.

Earlier, I told you about Mary Maxine and how she has a YouTube channel for real 4C hair women. And she loves the TGIN Curl Bomb on 4C hair although she also thinks the product is a bit expensive.

By the way:

Mary has low porosity hair 4C (and some 4B) hair, so take note of that if you are also a low porosity girl. It's important.

Here's what she liked about the TGIN Curl Bomb on 4C hair:

• Barely had to use any product, so it will last her a long time.
• It smells really good, kind of like a pear scent.
• It was very moisturizing for her.
• It gave her good definition.

Mary has low porosity hair so that’s likely the reason she barely used any product, so it's going to last a long time.

And she knows that she doesn't need heavy products.

That's one of the advantages of knowing your hair porosity, understanding how to use products to your advantage. 

That way you're really able to get your money's worth out of 4C hair products. 

She use both TGIN Twist and Define cream and the TGIN curl gel, she felt like she can get probably 6 wash and goes out of the two products together.

One "con" is that if you're a cheap natural you might not want to spend the money on TGIN products because they are a little bit pricey.

So, the overall vibe that I picked up from the TGIN reviews for 4C hair was that it was not the best choice for 4C hair ladies.

And that's weird, because:

The rest of the TGIN natural hair product line is beloved by 4C hair women.

Here are some of the main pros and cons that we noticed:

PROS:

• It moisturizes for most women.
• It defines well.
• Low porosity 4C's don't need to use much product. 
• It smells amazing.

And here are the cons of using TGIN Curl Bomb on 4C hair…

CONS:

• It flakes on a lot of 4c's
• It makes your hair crunchy if you don't oil afterward.
• Many complained that it leaves a residue.
• It doesn't have great hold for 4C hair.
• It's not humidity-friendly.
• 4C hair wash-n-goes likely won't last a full week.
• It cost too much for some.

A “keep it real” type sista named Linda Lynn on Youtube made some very interesting points about TGIN curl bomb on her type 4 hair. 

She lives in New Orleans and her wash and goes don't last a week in that humid climate,  She found it to be not very humidity-friendly. 

She did make the point clear though: 

If you don't mind doing a CO-wash every week or if you don't mind washing your hair twice a week then it may work for you, and you may be fine.

She wasn't about that life though.

What about you?

If you have kinky coily hair you might not feel like washing your hair 2 or 3 times a week just to refresh and redo your curls.

If you do have the time...

...then handle that sis. But most don't have time to be reapplying a product 2 or 3 times a week.

How to Use TGIN Curl Bomb
 for a 4C Hair Wash-n-Go

So, how do you use TGIN Curl Bomb? 

Here's your answer: 

1. Start on washed, conditioned, and deep-conditioned hair.
2. Detangle your hair as much as you can during the conditioning process, but it doesn't have to be fully detangled because you're going to finish the detangling with a wet brush. 
3. Separate your hair into sections with hair clips.
4. Start with your 1st section and... 
5. Spray your hair with a water aloe vera juice mixture, it doesn't have to be completely saturated, just wet enough to spread the product. 
6. Once the first section is moist apply TGIN Green Tea Super Moist Leave-in Conditioner.
7. Now separate that first section in half with your hands.
8. Brush detangle with a wet brush.
9. Add one or two pumps of the TGIN Curl Bomb gel to the section Using the shingling or raking method to make it clump. 
10. Repeat steps 5 through 9 for each other section of your hair.

Once you are finished with all of these steps on how to use TGIN Curl bomb for a 4C wash and go, let your hair dry out if you have the time. some 4 C's choose to use a diffuser to speed up the process.
